According to the 2020 ACS 5-year estimates, Gallatin County has a higher-than-average percentage, 73.2%, of owner-occupied housing as compared with the Commonwealth and national averages at 67.6% and 64.4% respectively5. Another 26.8% of homes in Gallatin County are occupied by renters from both commercial and private owners which is slightly lower than state and national rates5.
