Jill has a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Louisville and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University . Jill loves learning about people and cultures and knew she wanted to help people when she began her college studies. She worked as an Occupational Therapist for five years helping those with injuries or illnesses become more independent and improve their quality of life before seizing the opportunity to work in Harm Reduction.
Since then, Jill has fallen in love with her role and enjoys serving people who are often under-served and reluctant to reach out for care. Jill provides an array of Harm Reduction services including: syringe exchange, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, referrals to medical or mental health services, referrals for substance use disorder treatment, health education, sexual health resources and education, naloxone distribution and training, and outreach.
