Breast Cancer

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in American women next to skin cancer. Mammograms are the best method for early detection when it is easier to treat and before it can be felt or is big enough to cause symptoms.

When should I get a mammogram?

Talk with your primary care provider or your gynecologist about your risks and when you should start getting screening mammograms.

If you have current concerns about symptoms you may have to see your doctor right away. Don’t wait!

Breast Cancer Screening

Not just for women!

1 in 100 breast cancers diagnosed in the United States is diagnosed in a man.

Symptoms in men are similar to those found in women. If you notice any symptoms or changes in your breasts, see your doctor right away.
